A Typical Day in the Life:
As a Verification Associate, you will verify data between tax software and standard tax documents and ensure quality control standards.
Responsibilities may include:
- Verification of data captured by optical character recognition (OCR) software from standard tax documents.
- Perform quality control on data and communicate issues to team leaders.
- Organize documents per tax software rules and requirements.
- Ensure quality control standards.
- Perform various administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent experience and/or training.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365.
- Prolonged periods of working on a computer and ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods (e.g. sitting at a desk).
- Ability to work in a shared office environment with moderate noise levels.
- Occasional listing of items up to 10-15 pounds (e.g., office supplies, files) with or without reasonable accommodation.
